Actor/director/producer Jackie Chan's unique blend of impressive martial arts and screwball physical comedy has helped make him an international film star. Jackie Chan was born Chan Kong-Sang on April 7, 1954, in Hong Kong, China. He began studying martial arts, drama, acrobatics, and singing at age seven. When he was seven his parents left and moved to Australia leaving him alone for boarding school for the next 10 years. Jackie Chan graduated 1971. Jackie Chan is currently 60 years old. He has appeared in over 150 movies including Rush Hour and The Karate Kid. He started from a poor family who had to borrow money from friends to pay doctors. The Chan family lived on Victoria Peak in Hong-Kong. In school Jackie learned martial arts, acting, singing, and acrobatics.
